It's been almost a month since my digital TV is broken and the plan is that tomorrow the service worker will come to my house but why when I share the location it is not in the right location and has to be shifted manually. According to the news I heard in early 2022 everything analog will be eliminated, what do you think?

I have heard that analog phones will come back, they can function even without electricity, they are the only safe thing in case of total blackout.

I'm not sure analog will continue here, some infrastructure looks like it's going to go digital.

@May2k8 I also have problems with digital television, lately they are constantly 'upgrading' something, I will have to write a request to reduce the bill because I have to pay something (and the bill is not small) and I don't have that ..

Oh, we don't have to pay for the shows that are on digital TV here unless we connect it to the internet.

@LowRiderX Water is not free either, but air should always be free unless there is no opening for it.

@May2k8 It's different in every country, there's nothing for free here.. it is a question of the moment when the air we breathe will also charge

I don't think that it is possible to eliminate the analog that quick. But will be a promising future.

But the plan is still going on, and it is likely that my country in 2022 will be digital. There are still 2 years to see it.

I haven't heard of that. But I no longer have analog television. Been using flat screen television for a while now. Why do they want to eliminate analog though?

That's because analog uses a larger bandwidth than digital, and digital can fill more channels in one line.

We both have analog and digital tv, but i do not see analog tvs being sold here anymore since they are very bulky.

Analog can interfere with flight so that only digital remains.

I am not aware of this. But I don't see any analog TV in stores anymore. I don't have a TV because I am not fond of watching any program. My laptop can help me with the things that I need.

In the past, we had to pay TV fees, but with digital TV, we get clear images and sound without paying the fees every month.

We also still have analog TV, but the transmission is inferior to digital and sometimes we don't get the signal here. My government has planned to go digital since 2018.
