The pork broth, as result of tenderizing the meat I used with my other dish was not wasted. I peeled two potatoes, diced and cooked with it. Chopped cabbage was added later and the result was a soup dish.

I know it is a shame to waste, I use chicken or beef broth, but never the pork broth.

It's like a nilaga without the meat. With potatoes and cabbage, I think the dish did not go wrong.

I do that often. Save the broth for various purpose. Soup, add to sambal, add to sauteed vegetables. The broth makes big difference.

That's is so true. It can enhance the flavor knowing that it's from the real meat.

It's good not to waste. Saving money too. Besides the broth is full of the meat taste. It's a waste to just throw it away.

You can also freeze the excess broth and use them later on as a base for other dishes. But that is a great way of re-purposing something. Waste not, want not!

You are right. The volume has been reduced and it was just enough for the ingredients I added into it.
