Good news in my country: the first doses of the vaccine are here.

My government is buying vaccine doses from many sources and yesterday the first doses arrived to my country.
Yesterday, on Christmas Eve, the first doses were given to the health personnel in greater risk due to their work. And today, another part of it is going to those regions where there has been more COVID. Those, also, will go to the health personnel who has been prone to being infected because of their work. Doctors, nurses and aides that work near the patients will be innoculated.
As of now, everything is free for those people. And nothing has been said yet of any Chilean paing for their vaccine.
I think I will not watch more news in order to have the sweet taste of these news in my mouth. I hope it works.

@marguicha They decided for the elders in the Nursery Homes first... my husband said "they want to be sure there are not side effects". I have to agree.

Medical workers are the priority here too. The first vaccine here is Pffeizer but the government is checking other posibilities including the Chinese vaccine.
