One of my favorite books as a kid was: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? It goes from a brown bear seeing a red bird looking at it, to the red bird seeing a yellow duck looking at it, etc. Lots of colors, lots of animals. Well, my 9-year-old just wrecked the magic of that book. "Mom, how can the red bird see the yellow duck looking at it, if it's looking at the brown bear?" I, um. Well... Poop. I guess my kids' logic skills are more advanced than mine because looking it over again, it really doesn't make sense. Any books you've realized, as an adult, make no sense?

I had a lovely book once but in the picture of the horse, the back leg was bending the wrong way. Once I worked out why it looked funny, the book lost much of its appeal. lol

Sometimes the simplest things can wreck a good book.

*sigh* Yes, lots of them... Where would you like me to start? There's a reason I quit reading to my child when she was about five years old. I'd start reading and she'd start asking questions that were way too logical for the books I was reading to her. That's when I started making her read to me! She was too busy reading to think about the logic in the stories! Merry Christmas!
