Finished a Netflix series last night called TURN. It was on the AMC channel a few years ago but I missed it. Enjoyed all four seasons.
Turn is a spy thriller about a Long Island farmer who goes behind enemy lines to help George Washington’s army. It is based on the book “Washington’s Spies” by Alexander Rose.
The story covers events from 1776 to 1781, and features a farmer from Setauket, New York and his childhood friends. They form a group of spies called the Culper Ring, which eventually helps to turn the tide during the American Revolutionary War.
Based on actual events. Something different to watch.
Created by Craig Silverstein. With Jamie Bell, Heather Lind, Samuel Roukin, Daniel Henshall. A Long Island farmer bands together a group of childhood friends to form an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America's fight for independence.

I've seen that recommended to me but haven't watched it. I think I might like it, probably better than a book I was trying to read by William Saffire based around the same time period. You're still enjoying netflix?

@CarolDM I'm glad you did. I don't always give a series enough time before I decide it isn't for me. It wouldn't surprise me if cable was eliminated altogether in the next few years.

Thanks for the critique. I have Hulu now instead of Netflix. I want to re-watch Lost and see what Manifest is all about.
