Thing is... you can write a very thought out discussion and not get much comments and then you publish something short and/or silly that took no time to write and it will get tons of comments.

@lovebuglena I like to post discussions on topics that really matter to me even though I know they may not get much responses here. I used to do that at other sites too. I recall at Yahoo Contributor Network I received over five thousand pageviews within hours of posting for a couple of posts whereas the norm was a couple of hundred. The payment was $2 for thousand page views. As s non US resident I did not get paid, but it was okay with me.

I have been there a couple of times and I know it's possible but it does need a lot of time and presence here. You earn more if you get more reactions. We earn for reactions that we get here and not for our actions. Our actions are just important as they bring the reactions

I think it's possible if your post would get a lot of likes and responses. And you're right, it also depends on our activity and participation here. I think the highest I got was .5 and that happens only once I guess.

Usually it took me two months as well to get to payout. And it was usually in the $5 range. Recently, I managed to get to $5 every month for like five months in a row or something. Though last month I didn't reach it.

Certainly not that much! Years ago though when I was on MyLot and there were a lot more people who posted here I earned 35.00 one month..but that was basically mylotting all day every day. I don't do that now. Real life takes precedent.

I think my highest was in the 60s cents range. And it happened a few times at most. Usually my earnings are below the 20cents range. Sometimes I don't even get the 16-17 cent daily minimum needed to reach $5 when the month is over.
