2021 Please be good to us

The celebration in New Year's eve was not as festive compared to the preceding years. That's understandable because we're still at the situation of health threat and uncertainties. The year 2020 ended with little impact in our lives in terms of progress but a lot with fear, worries, and suffering. It was not a good year but it teaches us a lot of lessons; to be resilient and strong in spite of it's negativity. This year might be the beginning of healing and recovery and I can only hope for the best to everyone.

@ZedSmart I have no idea what will happen this year. I hope it will be a better one, but, not sure of that.

I do not have the feeling that people learned a lesson... most of them did not. Have you seen people doing parties during the end of the year despite the lockdown in many countries?

@ZedSmart Most European countries expect a surge after those Christmas holidays.

That is true. It would be be scary and problematic if there's a sudden surge of infection in the coming.

I guess that is everyone’s dream for this year. I am looking forward too a better year to all of us here. Maybe the lesson that l learned from all of this is us going back to basics. Our life with the technology we had made everything instant and easy to get but the pandemic had taught us that everything can easily be lost if we do not go back to basics and simplicity of what life is all about.

I wish you the best of luck. Things started out pretty well, but then again 2020 ended on a bad note for my hubby. So.... I suppose it could be worse.

We are all hoping for a better year. At least going back to normal. Being able to go to a place without fear and inhibitions.

I think the possibility of getting slowly into there is likely if there will be no sudden surge of infection.

I also wish the best for everyone, hope that things will recover as usual, hope that everything will return fine, hope that everything will return as it is, the pandemic makes our souls sicker because of being imprisoned at home, even the mental illness we experience will be turns into physical pain over time, our psychology is attacked by Covid first with fear of contracting, fear of traveling far, fear of meeting people, fear of using public facilities, fear of holding family events, fear of returning to our hometown, fear of hugging children and wives after work, everyone is afraid, I hope that in 2021 we will not be afraid of Covid again, I hope this Covid will soon disappear from the face of the earth
