Spring Flowers Are Missed

On these cold cloudy days I find myself missing the spring flowers and butterflies. Was looking thought my photo archives and saw this Lantana blooms. The butterflies always enjoy this one. And I like the colors in my deck garden. Spring will be here before we know it. And things will start looking up for everyone. We are all ready for better days. Snapped this photo from my deck garden last year.

I do not miss the heat at all, prefer the cold to the heat. But I do miss flowers.

We want to get some Lantanas for our yard. We still see them in bloom around the neighborhood on our walks, but definitely in spring there would be more. Yep - we're all waiting for better times!!

Lovely flowers. I don't know what is out there since I have been in forever. Tomorrow I need to get some food stuff so I will find out but this was a cold morning in Florida only 40 degrees.

We had a lantana hedge in the garden when I was a child on the farm. We had to keep the pet lambs away from it as it was poisonous to stock.
