I Don’t Discuss Politics Here But...

What happened today was beyond disgusting.

I can't believe how many people think votes are stolen from Trump.

As I watched CNN right now it seems like they are trying to finish what they are supposed to be doing. I pray that peaceful transition of power will be observed after this.

IT is just crazy and a person had to lose their life because of this mess .

I think we all are sickened by this.

@Michellekidwell And I try not to talk about politics here, I don't want to provoke anyone or whatever, who knows how someone would understand that ... except when it comes to my country, and I'm certainly not for violence, I'm not for innocent people 'pulls out the thick end' if you know what I'm talking about It is not a consolation, but the situation here is very similar, also with the younger generation

Our media is calling it 'anarchy'. I certainly deplore the violence which, if reports are correct, seems to have been inflamed (if not instigated) by QAnon followers but what I find even more worrying is that Trump appears to have not only condoned it by stopping the National Guard from intervening, he also appears to have actually incited the violence in his tweets and in a speech. What do you do when your President appears to be suffering a mental breakdown and increasingly clearly ought to be certified?

The younger generation is messed up because so many of their parents are messed up. Sad but true.

As concerned neighbours, we like the rest of the world, are watching and hoping for an end to these terrible disagreements and battles. I hope that tomorrow dawns brighter and safer for all involved.

What happened is more than disgusting, but violence always calls for violence.

None of us among the living have experienced an attempted coup in the United States of America. This is new territory to all of us.

Yesterday was awful. I was sick.

This is an embarrassment to the United States.
