No one wore mask.

I just got home from wedding party. Not sure if i could call eat party because we just prayed for the happiness of the groom and bride, and then ate. I regretted going to that event because no one wore mask. I dragged my chair away and didnt took my mask off except when i ate. I didnt even greet the groom and bride. After eating we got back home. If there is an invitation next time, i will try to find a good excuse so i dont need to attend it.

I am really sorry that your husband decided to go, I was sure it was not safe.

@Cheyee A crowded room is the worst place where to stay, no matter the distance.

@LadyDuck I stayed outside. Just groom, bride and close family were in the inside. Most of the guests were outside.

We should avoid gathering if it is not really important. And if ever we can't avoid it, we should always follow the health protocols. Stay safe.

We didn't plan to go until my husband's brother called. We planned to 'accidentally' forget about it.

That's very unsafe. How about the physical distance of the attendees? Was it followed?

Yes, I won't go next time. I attended one wedding party before this one. But people there did all health protocols, I thought this time would be the same.

Shouldn't the governor there forbid holding weddings if health protocols weren't practiced there?

@Cheyee it's hard to argue with people like that. They'll believe what they want to believe.

@prinzcy exactly. They don't understand and don't want to understand. Actually I don't have problem if they don't understand, but the problem is they can't respect my decision.

Had I gone to the event and found nobody else wearing a mask, I would have left... It might upset the hosts but they shouldn't endanger others just because they were getting married. NOTHING is more important than our health! I seriously hope nobody had Covid 19 at the party!

@Cheyee I do understand. I'm just worried about you being pregnant with the possibility of catching Covid. I don't want you and the baby sick. I don't go to parties because I don't know what to do or how to act at parties. I'm always afraid people will think I'm stupid and a klutz. *shrug*

I was planning to leave but I can't because it's close family. The party was held in my brother in law's house. And my parents in law were there. I already have bad reputation for being arrogant (I am not arrogant, i am just an awkward woman, I don't know how to mingle). And I don't go to family gathering often.

@DaddyEvil I was worried too. Still hope I won't catch anything there. We are just the same. But my face is truly the opposite of my personality.

@Cheyee That is sad that you were the only one wearing a mask. I would find an excuse too the next time because that is horrible that they do not care.

@Cheyee I found that people do not understand if you do not want to go to something. I am sorry you have to find an excuse instead of being able to talk to them.

Yeah, next time I will use my kids as an excuse or maybe my pregnancy (I am almost my due, and moving too much makes me tired, it's not an excuse right? It's the fact)

We went to a marriage event two weeks back. People did wear masks, but many were talking to each other without them. There was a limited gathering of 30 people from our side. Yet one does has doubts whether one would be safe afterwards.

OM! That is so irresponsible! The wedding planner should put that on their priority list - mask and face shield. That is so risky! Does the bride and groom had their own mask? That is so irresponsible! I hope you and your family and everyone who attended the wedding are fine. God bless.
