I have been very pissed these last weeks because the online supermarked is charching 3 times because of high demand.
I could understand that during the holidays buy that went on and on. So yesterday I sent a mail asking when would that change and they replied that they had no idea.
But yesterday, while I was watching TV, my own supermarket had a commercial about how to buy online. So this morning I bought what I needed and deleted the list from the other place. Rnd of the problem. They will bring it tomorrow.
I even remembered to buy cookies to Luna

I've seen a fair share of those price gougers here in the US. Just go on to eBay and look at things like hand sanitizer. But they also gouged peanut butter and other products people consider staples. I suppose that when there is a shortage, some will pay the price even though it is four or five times what it should be. (Shoot, some have been more like 10 times what the price should be.)

When the cornershop did not lower its prices after the holidays I checked my freezer and pantry and decided to boicot them. I was happy to find another way to buy.

@marguicha Good for you. My wife's grandfather had a saying that I loved, and what you are doing seems to fall right into it.
Watch your pennies and your dollars will take care of themselves.
I realize this is American currency he was talking about but it works for any.

@marguicha Our authorities today issued a warning about Bitcoins, people must know that they can lose everything they invested. It works exactly like a Stock at the stock exchange or no matter which other currency, you "buy" Bitcoins against your currency, if it goes up you sell and get back more than what you invested... if it loses the 35% in 30 days you get back the 65% of what you invested.

That is so sad that they are doing that especially since we are in the midst of the corona virus and many people are losing their jobs. I am glad you could buy online at your supermarket. What kinds of cookies does Luna like?
