So, I had some banking to do today, plus I had a mystery shop. I also had a gift card to use at Panera..I had to be at the shop at a specific time, and I was really kind of worried as to whether I would get all done and at the shop in time..but fortunately it all worked according to plan and I saw some new scenery as Google maps sent me on a road I had no clue about..saw a horse riding complex, and two little lakes I didn't know about..very nice detour.Fortunatley, all the food was free including a sandwich, bagel and coffee. So, yes.

I did mystery shops years ago. Not all were good experiences. But it was a nice way to make a little extra cash.

Yes, the company I work for pays more than most since the shops are more involved, but you are right not all are good experiences. I get annoyed with the company because they keep doing the same dysfunctional things over and over, and then want feedback. If I really told them what I thought, I doubt I would be working there much longer. They never change any procedures, even the ones that don't work...it is stupid.

@snowy22315 It is sad that folks are to afraid to be honest, so they can improve their procedures. But some companies get offended if you give them suggestions for improvements.

I'm glad you saw some pleasant new scenery! Panera bread is a wonderful place, Jay had lunch there once.

Yes, it was a fun time...minus the anxiety of wondering if I would be at the shop on time.

You should, they are always looking for people. Sign up at a mystery shopper forum so you can learn which companies are legit and which are not.
