Over an Hour Drive to Pee in a Cup and Get Your Hair Clipped

United States
January 15, 2021 8:22am CST
A local company that one of our friend's works for recently called my husband regarding a job. He had to drive over an hour for a urine test and have his hair clipped for drug testing. He also has to watch videos and was told that it looks like he will be in training around February 3rd. That isn't too far off. Gives him time to get ready for the training. The videos are part of the training. This job will be close to home and also bring him home every night. He will have Fridays and Saturdays off. The pay is good and there are health benefits. Hoping this one works out for him.

He was happy to get the call from them. Our friend said if he has made it this far he should be good to go. Time will tell.

It does sound perfect. However, sometimes it is too perfect and you get let down. Hoping that isn't the case.

The last job I held offered benefits. I took happily took the benefits. But, had to work every other weekend, sometimes an evening shift too. At first I didn't mind the weekends or evenings. I even took extra work. The company was great and I didn't want to be home with the idiot I was with. LOL. But as time went on and the company changed hands, it was not easy to work for a company that insisted you do this and that.

@crazyhorseladycx he will be returning to his former employer on Monday. Once he gets enough experience he can work for the new company. This will be a long 2-3 months. He will only be home on weekends.
