In the seashore near Santiago there are beautiful towns. Maybe they are the most beautiful and big in my country and places where many tourists go in Summer.
Right now, in a moment of great heat, a lot of forest fires have started. They still don´t know if they are natural fires or if someone started them.
Dear friends, I´m now going to see if I cam watch a cooking channel. I don´t want more news.
The only good thing is that the people in peril of losing their houses have not left behind their pets. At least there´s something good among all this horroe.

Our west coastal forests experience these fires, every year. Why? Some are deliberately set, while others are because of the dry heat.

@marguicha Someone would have to be mentally unstable, doing something so terrible!

Several homes were lost. It is harder now to have the people in shelters when they might have Covid.

Many of those people lose all they have in the world. Most of them have on insurance.

I do not blame you if you do not watch the news that is depressing. Enjoy watching channels that you like.

It seems like the fires plague many countries. I'm sorry to hear about them in your country.
