Chicken Broth and Crackers

Maybe it is the time of year. The cold weather. The news from my cousin. And other issues going on. Whatever the reason may be, chicken broth and crackers are on the dinner menu for this evening. Using my large Eeyore mug for the broth. One of those days. I don't feel bad. Just don't feel great. But this too shall pass. My Dad always told me that. Tomorrow will be a better day. Photo is mine.

That’s the thing about not feeling good....it will pass. Sometimes like a kidney stone, but..... Hope you feel better!

@CarolDM — I know. I’m sure about 75% of my reflux problems is the paranoia from having been diagnosed with COVID. Plus, you’ve got the anxiety of living in a state capital...... Pray you feel better quickly!

@FourWalls I can imagine after being diagnosed you always wonder with any symptom, what is going on. Glad you are better. Thank you! Sunshine whelped some this morning. Cold but sunshine just the same.

Chicken brith is a favorite for me in winter. I bring my mug to my bedroom and watch TV in bed.

We can't avoid from what's happening around us but to have a hope that tomorrow would be a better one makes us felt relieved

I hope you enjoy it. I would probably have to be ill or recuperating from something to have that for dinner. Tomorrow will be a better day!

I am having chicken bone broth. I do not feel like cooking, and my husband still has leftovers from lunch. But I have the crockpot going right now with pot roast.

I always marvel at how some people can eat so light. This would never do it for me. I am probably just a pig. lol

Delicious. True, let us not lose hope, always have faith that the brighter tomorrow is near, is closer. Let us not sit thinking of things that will not help in solving the problem, just let it go and let the time do the solving. If the situation is too heavy to carry just throw it up and there is someone up there for sure who will catch it.

I don't know how many people realize this but a cup of chicken broth is very comforting. I know most people eat chicken soup when they have the cold or the flu. But a cup of chicken broth can make you feel better even when you are really sick. You could be just be having a down day.

Yes, that's the spirit! Actually, I am trying to change my mindset. I used to be pessimistic most of the time. But I have figured that I am being too hard on myself. So yeah, today might not be a good day but it doesn't mean that I already have a bad life.
