This is not for food, but my motorbike doesn't want to start ON and tomorrow I plan to go to the motorbike repair shop to find out what damage is there. Have you ever spent money beyond your expectations?

@LadyDuck This year we must be on high alert, because we certainly don't want the virus to come to us. Jakarta is the largest contributor to covid cases.

I have. But it's why I keep a good chunk of money aside in case of unexpected emergencies.

@prinzcy Car repair is more expensive and the difference is not that much, 2 years ago my front motorbike was damaged and hit an iron pipe so I had to spend 200K rupiah.

After I converted it was around 87,349.27 IDR and my expenses are probably bigger than that. I still understand about food, this is a motorbike engine that I can't eat.

I do this everyday. The more things come up, the more money I have to spend and go over budget. Very frustrating!

Yes, I have cats and anual subscriptions. I have unexpected expenses pile up all of the time. You would think by not going out, you don't spend money..... but you do. Our cats need to eat, they have medicine.....we have things we need to do and so on. Life is always moving forward. a virus doesn't keep a schedule. Neither do disasters.

All of that comes at a time, we cannot be silent, we keep trying not to carry the virus with us, but sometimes other people spread the virus to us, Indonesia experiences insistent trials and all our efforts and prayers are done together.
