Issue: Death After Pfizer Vaccinations

My mom was freaking out this evening. I asked her what's made her like this. I found out that it was all about the senior citizen's death in the USA (aged 60 and above) and Norway (23 death). They died after having these vaccinations. I don't have any encouraging words on this matter. I hope Pfizer can find the answers. What went wrong? Are feeling scared to take these vaccines now? I wonder if there are senior people during the clinical trials they conducted. They're the target priority though and now this happening.

I also wondered if they were included. It seems that we need to wait for what will happen next.

@Shavkat That's questionable. A vaccine with nearly 100 percent efficacy rate and now comes the side effect to certain age of the population.

@ZedSmart As far as I know, Pfizer claimed to be 95% effective to people. It means that it is not a hundred percent.

At least I'm relieved that our vaccine is Sinovac, which our president has tested himself. And I can see now that he's fine. So I still believe getting vaccinated rather than getting fined.

Is this mandatory in your country now? I think there will be a form to be signed if willing to have it or not here.

@Babale Sinovac is from what country. Are they created there?

@Shavkat It's mandatory, it's just that the vaccine will not only be Sinovac. Those who refuse can even be jailed or fined.

They are already high risk to begin with.

@Shavkat I'm guessing they were but they still went through with getting the vaccine. The fear of getting CoViD-19 far outweighed the fear of any side effects from the vaccine.

When it comes to having health conditions, I am sure they are at great risk. I wondered if they were screened by their doctors before injecting these vaccines.

@allen0187 I hope they are not the newest news si there is a new strain in LA. I assumed that they are resistant to the vaccines.

Right from the start I was worried that this would happen. If people are very ill the side effects of the vaccines could be dangerous. In my country that first people who received the vaccine were nursing home residents, and many of them were very ill. I think that a doctor should assess each resident before they receive the vaccine instead of simply giving it to everyone. Most of us aren't going to die if we get the vaccines, but there are cases where it isn't safe to use them. I think that those deaths are going to prevent some people from getting the vaccine, but I think it is important to remember that there is huge difference between people who are already very ill and those who are healthy.

Later we all will die, for healthy people maybe the vaccine will not have much effect.

I agree. We need to be fit in taking these vaccines.

It's a little scary but I hope we'll see good news soon as we are dependent on the vaccine.

I am hoping that they will alter or check what went wrong along the process. I must admit that I want to be vaccinated, too. Not only me but also my family members.

I think these deaths are going to put a lot of people off having the vaccine.

I agree. Even in my country, some citizens are feeling in doubt about having them.
