I didn't go to class today and I won't be going tomorrow....Also, do you know this show?

Yesterday in the evening my stomach wasn't feeling so great. I didn't sleep well last night either as my stomach was still mucking up and overall I was feeling a bit off. Not sure if it's something I ate but according to the doctor I spoke to this afternoon, there is a viral gastroenteritis (are those the right words? I don't remember) bug going around. Couldn't say whether she is right or wrong but either way she suggested I stayed home for today and tomorrow.
I'm not even bothered because the Unit my class is doing, is something I've already done and I did it well! I put so much effort into it and technically, I've already closed that Unit. So I'm not stressing about missing class.
I'm so tired from lack of sleep yet I just want to sit, relax and watch YouTube and my show. (I touched base on that once, it's called "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here" the Australian version ). I'm 2 episodes behind. I rarely watch or even get excited for anything on TV but I do love this show a lot. I can watch what I've missed online which I love. So will be doing that once I post this.
I am curious if there are any other versions of the show I watch? I know there is a UK version. Does anyone here know or watch this show that's set in their country? It's a show where celebrities are thrown into the jungle with each other and they have to do trials to earn stars. The more stars they win, the better the meals are in camp. But they also do this to help raise money for various charities. I just love it. The things they have to do....has me so glued to the screen. Would love to know if anyone else knows this show and / or watches it!

I am sorry how your health has suffered last year and also this year so far too. Sounds like you will not be missing anything then. It sounds like survivor maybe. I have not seen that.

@Hannihar Thank you Hanni, it's all good, was just a stomach issue but all better now.
I haven't seen that much of Survivor but it is another good description as it's not that far off really.

You are welcome Dani. I am glad you are ok now. You have had your fair share of being sick and I understand that one. One year I seemed to be at my doctor's office a lot and thought I should move in, but, could not because then Sophie would have to come and live with me there and that would be hard on her with so many people. I do not recall seeing Survivor but it sounds like what I have heard about it.

@DocAndersen Ugh I'm sorry that happened to you. I know stomach bugs can happen a lot anywhere but yes, it's nothing compared to a majority of other illnesses / diseases out there.
Thank you kindly.

@LadyDuck It's all good, was just a stomach thing.
I am guessing it's just an Aussie and UK thing maybe.

@JudyEv No worries. It's hosted by Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris. Grant Denyer is in this season of it too. I'm really enjoying it.
Thank you kindly.
