Good Morning

I love this little saying "Sorry for what I said before coffee". I don't know about you but the things I might say before coffee can be almost brutal. This morning was no exception. I snapped at the hubby and told Luke to go away. I just wanted my cup of coffee and for some reason the two of them were under my feet. I can really be a grouch. Usually we wake up at different times. Now that i have had two cups of coffee I an finally think. And what I am thinking is I think I will make a wood plaque with this saying on it. Hope everyone is happy, healthy, and had their cup of coffee or tea.

Sorry you're a grouch before your coffee! I wake up just fine. The only coffee I have is a cup of decaf in the evening. Hope you are happy and healthy too. Stay safe.

Thank goodness, I am not a grouch every morning. My irritation is mostly connected to my pain.

I love the saying. I think it might be appropriate for many coffee drinkers.

@HazySue True. I'd need one that read 'tea'.

I think it is for many coffee drinkers or tea drinkers.

I understand. I’ve had lots of supervisors like that. I had a commanding officer at one command who was a Dallas Cowboys fan, and if they had a stupid loss on Sunday I made sure to get to work early so the coffee was READY when he came in.

I think that's kind of funny. It's not fun being a dedicated coffee drinker before you have a first cup.

My husband always tells me not to talk to him till he's had his coffee.

Yep, mine is the same way. We pretty much say good morning and drink our coffee before we try to have a conversation.

I need my coffee in the morning but I am never grumpy or rude even before my coffee.

I am mostly half asleep before my first up. But every now and then the caffeine monster comes out and says "leave me alone and give me that coffee".
