All of us know water is an essential for our body to maintain its metabolism and good health. We can keep away major percentage of diseases by drinking the right amount of water.
I watched some YouTube videos on drinking water. There are plenty of videos available in YouTube informing the right method of drinking water like when to drink, how to drink, whether cold or hot is the right choice etc.
In fact, after watching all those I become more confused.
Some are saying drink only when you feel thirsty, else your brain becomes confused. Some says drink plenty of water, some other says drink water according to the body weight.
What is your take on drinking water?

I think one should consume enough liquids that our body needs with thirst or without thirst.

I drink water when I am thirsty. Here, it is said a man should drink approximately 3.7 liters (13 cups) of water a day and a woman should drink 2.7 liters (9 cups) a day.

I only drink when I need to.
But I like to keep well hydrated so I drink when I think I need to.
Which sometimes I might not actually need to
