I'm staying inside (my house) where it is warmer... Short post

...while my crew is it in the elements cleaning the window accounts we have on a monthly basis. When they start it may be up to 32f about the freezing point. Later it may get to to 37 but I would be surprised if it gets that high at all or before they're done working for the day. They should be done just after lunch unless they have to warm their hands a lot. I might look for a picture where were cleaning windows but it will be in warmer weather if I can find one. This was actually from November on a brisker day but not as cold as today.

I hope that you can stay warm. My hands are cold at the moment.

I'm inside and here it depends I on what room I'm in. Where my computer is that room is always cold. I think because two walls are outside walls. I'm in the living room right now on my phone and that room is warmer. The sun is coming in and out only had one outside wall and larger windows. If I get cold I have blankets to cover my legs with which helps too.

I was looking at the two workers who are pruning the trees under the rain and I was saying to my husband that I do not envy them.

This time of year the rain is cold. I wouldn't want to work in the rain either. Snow is a little easier to work in if it's not too much of the day.

@MarshaMusselman It's also cold, not a pleasure to work outside all the day, they are there working since early this morning.

@LadyDuck I wonder whether it took longer to prune the tree because of the cold rainy conditions. Is this the month pruning is normally done or maybe they are behind schedule?

Sometimes I work with them but if I go they make less which is bad for them good for me but my foot still hurts so I'm staying inside this week. Last week I worked with them.

@MarshaMusselman Better to stay inside and rest that foot.

@HazySue I should confine myself to my bed and put it up. It's elevated off the floor at present just not over my heart. My recliner foot ready doesn't go up that high.

I did work the last three days when it was ten degrees colder and Tuesday it had a brisk wind. I was thinking of the -30f temps were had several years ago and how did I ever get through that? Well for one thing I was younger. I simply dislike this weather and would rather hibernate during the winter months. Ahh well that's not happening any time soon.

@MarshaMusselman Now, I changed my mind. A friend called and I am going hiking. I can always dress warmly.

@paigea yes you can. If you were skiing your be out in colder weather then. I'm thinking you do better in colder temps than I do. Not that I can quit living because it's colder.

I am also staying inside. How I wish I have someone to clean my windows.

@thelme55 it would be rather difficult to arrange unless there were as way to transport from one location to another in a matter of moments but that won't happen in our lifetime.

@MarshaMusselman That would be a pity. We live far from each other.

@Hannihar two of them don't have much money so I know it helped them out.

They know how to dress for the weather. I got them thinsulate gloves for colder weather some time back too.

@MarshaMusselman They probably work outside so you are right that they know how to dress. That was nice of you to get the thinsulate gloves for them.

I bet it can get pretty slippery on those ladders. I wouldn’t want to have to work in the cold but someone has to do it.

We didn't use any ladders when they went out last week. We try not to use them much once winter comes.

Lol, today I stayed home and didn't even go with them in the car. I had stuff I wanted to do at home laundry and other things. I edited my title to be more specific since others also thought I went with them.

It's darn cold here today too but at least the sun is shining. I feel bad for you and your crew who have to be outside working in the freezing cold.

You don't have to feel bad for me as I'm at home with my cup of coffee. But if I were with them I'd probably be in the car with the heater running.

The one I'm looking out of our the one he's cleaning? Actually neither of them are. That are all normal windows just up high enough that a ladder is the best way to reach them for cleaning.

It is and we may not to not do them next month. It will depend on how cold it gets and whether there are any days close to thirty or not.

These are businesses we've done for several years only one is fairly new. If it stays too cold next month we'll skip them all and wait till March to return. By then the colder temps should be gone
