Well tonight I am going to cook some chicken and egg noodles for dinner. I don't know what I will be having with it yet though. The other day when I went to the store to get my chicken, all I could get was some thighs. When I went to the meat department, all they had was a little bit of chicken and all of it was packs of thighs. All the other compartments where the chicken was uselly kept was empty. I finally ask one of the workers what had happened and she told me that three machines had went out at the same time. Hopefully they will have them fixed by the time I have to go back shopping, or I will have to go somewhere else.

Food shortags, what a pain. We were at publix, and they only had certain selections of meat, too had to get our second favorite because our first choice was out of stock or something. At least you found something, and it's possible they'd get stuff.

The thing I think is bad, is the stores being out of a lot of canned goods and sometimes it's hard to find pasta to. I don't know if it's due to people stock piling these things or what.

@kaylachan I tell ya, it's sad what all of us across this country, as well as all the other countries are having to go through now. I know I have even seen where Walmart shelfs are low, I even seen where a person posted a video showing where the Walmart that she shopped at had the can goods still in the box sitting on the shelves because it was faster to put them out that way, since people were buying them up as fast as they could put them out. With the boxes on the shelves like that, it reminded me of a Big Lots store, how some of them just puts the boxes on the shelve.

That's what started it, but thanks to COVID, people who used to come to work if they were slightly under the weather are told to stay home. This leaves placeses short-staffed and short-handed. In addition to that, a lot of labor workers and delivery driver's quit. And, no one is chomping at the bit to drive because they don't want to be dogged. Work hard for very little pay. @sweetashoney

I love chicken with noodles. My daughter here always makes it with what's called yellow rice I told her must be a southern dish cause I never had it before she fixed it. I still prefer noodles with it but I eat the rice dish anyway.

I guess I wrote that wrong. When I said machines, I was talking about whatever went wrong with the refigerator type display case that grocery stores have their meat in. I didn't mean that a machine was putting chicken on the shelves.????

I hope you were able to get what you wanted. Thighs are my favourite portion when it comes to chicken.
