Sad to see a Site just collapse

I spent months on that Site keeping all other Sites in the back burner. It was a new Site. Sadly the owner had no clue how to earn for the Site. It was depending on users to boost his money pool which was not a wise thing to do.
Most users have abandoned that Site. Interacting was fun but if the Site owner does not earn how can the Site survive?
Kudos to myLot and Forum Coin. They know how to survive.

That was a new Site. The owner had no clue how to earn for the Site. I even recommended that he has a look at Sites that thrive. n

If you are talking about Bluefire there was a message today from the CEO that they are working on everything and checking things out and going to refigure everything and so on, Not saying it will definitely happen but at least he came forward,

It's a shame some websites can't hold on because of the earnings. This is the only site i am on that I do any type of writing as I'm not good as a writer but I like that I can write my thoughts down here and not get judged.

@allknowing Yeah kinda like a site that I was on before this one. They couldn't pay all their users and ended up shutting down.

If a Site does not earn how will they pay its users That seems to be the problem there.

That is a Site where users whose main is to earn get to see names of Sites that pay. There are countless other topics too In the General Chat users can have fun and ofcourse earn. One can write articles where they get paid well.

@allknowing That's too bad - sounds like it was a good place otherwise.

@much2say It was indeed a great place If the owner requested the users not to expect payment until he settles down users would have surely agreed but ego came on the scene.

What I enjoyed there was the interaction. The users were friendly and it was fun to be there.

I have heard about few sites that look promising when they come up and then go down the drain. I have not been to any new site and even on FC I have not been much regular.

This guy was confident he would make it and had his own ways to garner money but when he did not succeed he did not pay and someone who was always there for the users stopped responding to messages and that put off the users and there was an exodus.
Forum coin is a place where one gets to know of other paying sites and the Admin there is very polite and I doubt if he has hurt anyone there.

@arunima25 I do not remember FC closing down. When was it I was away from them for a while. May be that must have been the time.
Admins of all Sites could learn a thing or two from the FC Admin. I have yet to meet another Admin who is so polite, prim and propah!!

@allknowing They end up in an uprofessional way and that is not appreciated. Well, I have found both FC and mylot good in a way that admins are active. And they are prompt in payment. Even when FC faucet was closed, they did it with an announcement.

He failed in his attempts to earn for the Site. And that happens I suppose.

It's saddening but that's the reality that we have to live by. I've seen a lot of sites that come and go I am happy that these two sites are still surviving. Well Forum Coin is one of my favorite sites along with myLot.

I spent a lot of time at that Site which is still in the testing mode. I doubt it will ever be a success looking at the approach of the owner.

Wow forum coin still lives? Haven't been there in a while. Maybe that site wasn't really my vibe or anything.

When I first started working online, I went through so many sites that collapsed that I started thinking it was "normal". I thought to myself: 'Well! Maybe that's how it is online. You start at a site. Then after a short while, it disappears. If you're lucky you earned something. If you were unlucky, you got screwed!'
Then I found MyLot and Forum Coin. I thought 'Wow! They actually pay, And they have Admin folks who talk to you!'

Over the years I've seen the vast majority of sites that pay a set amount for a set action fail.
The amount they pay for said action starts dropping lower and lower then the site goes bust.
In my opinion the reason why sites such as mylot survive is because there is no set amount.
We know how earnings work but not how much you earn for any received interaction such as a response/comment/like/read etc.
I think they'll have a specific percentage of revenue to be shared out amongst members but the actual amount of money will change depending on revenue...nobody will be disappointed as they aren't promised a set figure.

In this case the owner just did not earn. His earning strategy did not work for him.
