Polar Nights/ Midnight Sun Talk from a Swedish YouTuber

While just randomly checking a few things, we came across this video (and in fact the YouTube channel) from a Swedish YouTuber, who lives in the Northern Sweden- a very desolate and cold area. Here is the video link: She talks about how she tries to adjust to the almost full time night in that part(it becomes dark by 2 PM and many a times, sun does not rises above horizon)- something known as Polar Night. Plus she also talks a bit about Midnight Sun. Some Amazing sights and great insight into how she adjusts to such conditions. Watching such videos provides good joy at times.

My friends in Florida, now Malta, are from Finland. That’s why they leave during the winter for warm and sunny climates.

@DianneN Even though at times, even years of being at a place doesn't ensures that one is always comfortable. Even after being technically "used" to a continental climate- extreme hot and extreme hot, we always complain of the "excess" during these two seasons!!

@LindaOHio Living in such places needs Physical adjustment - perhaps 30% but rest 70% might be the mind adjustment, and sometimes tougher.

@CarolDM Yes a very huge one for me. We do have dark from 5:30 PM onwards from October to early January but dark at 2 PM! Well that would be a lot of adjustment!
