Seeing ads from a site I just visited

So I go and visit a retail website and browse for stuff but don't buy anything. Soon after I start seeing ads from that site for the products I looked at but didn't buy. Seeing those ads won't make me buy the items I didn't buy originally. I guess the ads show up because of the cookies from the site. Or maybe there is another reason. Either way, I find it rather annoying. Does that ever happen to you?

That is more of the sites collecting your browsing history.

Seems like not much privacy these days.

It's because of the cookies that all sites now place in our computer and browser... we should fight for our privacy.

@lovebuglena I clear the cookies and stored data every day before turning off my computer.

Gotta regularly clear the cookies and cache data, which is something I don't do.

It happens all the time. Sometimes I do end up buying one of the items.
