We will have to practise our wood-working skills to match this

In between the showings of the two films we saw today, we went for a walk and came across this incredible model. Apart from the tyres, it is made entirely from wood. Can you imagine the hours and hours of work that must have gone into its construction? I love the various colours of wood that have been used.
It was advertising a museum and woodcraft shop that is in a new suburb called Treendale, close to Bunbury in Western Australia. We’d never heard of the museum until today. Now we do know about it, we’ll be off to explore it sometime soon. The model makes our wooden boxes look very amateurish.

It is pretty amazing someone was able to make that whole thing out of wood, so much detail.

Someone really must've had a lot of time to put into that as well. Because that would be a lot of hard work.

Nothing that I've seen of you and Vince's woodworking is amateurish! It's a wonderful gift:) And this piece of art is astounding, that's for sure

@JudyEv I'm sure it did have much planning and design going into it too.

@JudyEv Very true. We can see the patience and the amount of effort gone there. But then all is worth this kind of masterpiece

@arunima25 If I had made this, I wouldn't have felt it necessary to make anything else ever again!!
I would rest on my laurels for ever.

What an incredible work of art! Imagine the painstakingly slow progress it took to create this, and the attention to detail that was involved. Kudos to that woodcrafter who put so much time and effort into creating a masterpiece.

@moffittjc Hopefully - but, if so, it would have cost a pretty penny.
