Good morning everybody on mylot. It is 8.10 in the morning of Monday, 1st February. It is a sunny day but with some haze. Sun has not fully come out. It is pleasant at 23 degrees centigrade. Already a month has passed since new year began. Time is flying so fast. You don't even realise it.
Today is the presentation of our Union Budget for financial year April 2021 to March 2022. Our Finance Minister is going to present the budget in the lower house of parliament. It is a great day in financial circles. People are interested in knowing changes in the tax structure, imposition of new taxes or relief in some. Stock markets are also on high alert. The shares of the companies affected move up or down. Some people try to cash on this movement.

@Sreekala Opposition's role in India is to oppose anything and everything proposed by ruling party so negative evaluation of budget was expected from them but real thumbs up to the budget has been given by business community which is shown by surging of stock markets by over 5 %.

We are 3 hours advance here. I also observed that stock market is high. My friends who buy stocks are happy.
