My Honeydew Is Making Me Crave

I went to have a quick errand today. Along the path of my hiking, I dropped by the small market and got this fruit 'honeydew melon.' In some places around the world, they call it 'honeymelon.' I am planning to slice the yellow tone skin tomorrow morning. In this photo, it looks like a yellow full moon. Are you fond of eating honeydew? What do you do when having it in the house?

Yes, I like honeydew melons but Pretty doesn't. I also like muskmelons and cantaloupes. She doesn't like those, either. What do you mean "What do you do when having it in the house?" I cut it open, put the seeds into a plastic bag, slice it and then peel the slices. Put them on a plate and eat them. (Whatever I don't eat immediately I cut into chunks, put them into a bowl, put a lid on it and put the bowl into the fridge.)

@DaddyEvil I did eat them a couple of times. Honeydew is not that common here in my city. In fact, it is my first time to see it and taste it

I am planning to have some of the others mentioned by you. Perhaps I will do it every week. Do you make a shake with it? I think that is what I am referring to.

@Shavkat Have you never eaten muskmelons or cantaloupes? They have orange flesh instead of green. The honeydew has a sweeter taste but the other two are just as good. I don't know. I don't make shakes or smoothies. At/Near the end of the harvesting season I start cutting some of them up and putting them into Ziploc Freezer bags in my freezer. When I want some during our winter, I pull a bag out and eat it like ice cream. (I do the same thing with watermelon.)

It is our secret. It is my first time to see this, too. There is no second thought to buy it because I am curious about the taste of it.

We quite like these but don't buy them very often. We would just peel it and slice it up.

In my city, they are more abundant in lowland areas. For this reason, it is a lucky to have it here.

I love honeydew melon, but ours come in a gray/tan skin. The flesh of the melon is very sweet and a light green color.

We also had this type. It is nice to have some fruit in our system. I sometimes use milk with it.

We used to eat the green honey dew with canaloupe years ago. Haven't had honeydew in a few years. Think I buy some soon!

It would be nice if you have one. I will try another variant of it next week. They are becoming abundant here lately.

Our honeydews are much paler. Great with a wedge of lime.

I love them when it is being cold. Actually, it is my first time to see a smooth one like this. No second thought of buying it yesterday.
