I got my shoes yesterday, but...

... I'm sending them back. Mainly because they are to big but also because it looks like the bottom of the soles are smooth and I don't need to fall on the snow or ice or at work. I'm undecided on whether I'll try a smaller pair of something else or wait and look at a show store in town first. It I might check out Carol's suggestion which is shoes.com. @rakski asked for an update.

They are cute, but may be too "pointy" as you have a toe problem.

@MarshaMusselman I do not buy anymore shoes with slippery soles, it is dangerous even inside the house.

@LadyDuck at my age I'm thinking the same thing.

The pointyness didn't seem to be a problem but again they were to big to know for sure. I might be willing to try another pointy pair of the soles are rubber or at least some type of pattern to eliminate slipping. We shall have to wait and see.

it is good that you are able to send it back. Hope you find one that you like and fit your feet

So do I. I'm sure I'll share once I find some that work better than these or what I already own.

I've never gotten shoes online. I know sometimes the shoe size can vary depending on the style too . . . so I get them in person (except that I haven't gotten to shop for shoes in a year!!). Hope you find something just as cute, the right size, and with workable soles.

@MarshaMusselman Right, our feet are everything - so it literally needs to be a good fit.

I'm sure I will. I just can't settle for something that doesn't for all the criteria that I need.

That looks good. I don´t buy shoes online as I have to fit them first before buying them. It is always difficult for me to buy fitting shoes because I have small feet.

It's nice to know one show store has shoes larger than what I thought my foot size was. I may still look for something else on their site or the one you suggested. But, I will wait until the money is returned to me and I might check out shoes in the mail and Kohl's first before trying online shoes again.

@CarolDM thanks. I also want to wait until my foot healed a bit more. It's come a long way last month but once it's completely healed it will be much easier trying on the different shoes.

From the picture, they look more like slippers to me

They are called dance shoes and that may be why the sole is smooth. At least now I know that if I order from them again I should go at least a size smaller and more shoes might be available to me that way too.

That's disappointing that you have to send them back. They are cute. But I understand how you would be leery of slipping if the soles are smooth. I have to have soles that are rubber and non skid type these days.

That's The one thing I liked about the Ortho shoes I've bought. They have rubber soles much like boots so I'm not concerned even when walking on ice although I still test it to be sure I won't slip. To bad that brand doesn't run a little bigger. One pair I got never showed signs of wear on the soles and felt great for one month but now my tried get squished after eight hours in them. A different style I purchased from them I wore one show one day and it's was too tight but it got some wear marks on the bottom of maybe salt and I can't clean it off so I'll be giving them to one of my daughters.

I don’t blame you. You need a good quality shoe that offers fit and comfort. A leather sole or rubber would be better.

Overall, I decided not to order from Justfab anymore. But those shoes are cute.

They're cute but the sizes are different and now I don't know how to order them so will wait awhile and see. Plus I've not repackaged then for mailing just yet.

@paigea I've not had to do it much. It might not work for me either. Plus I don't have cashier anymore to be able to walk more in the house anyway.

@MarshaMusselman I never get around to sending things back, so shopping online just doesn't work for me.

I may but from them again. I'm not sure yet. Either way I'll need to wait until my return gets there and I have the money to use again or wait until next week when I get payment from someone else.

I like the pattern. It looks classic. I hope you will get your money soon. Personally, I never bought shoes online. I prefer picked and tried it at the store, because refund is really pain in the *** here. My size is normal but I have thin skin, it gets blisters so easily so soft material is a must (and I only wear flat shoes).
