The Price is Painful

I was prescribed by my doctor to take the medicine for two weeks. For me it's pricey and my pocket is hurting. I looked for a generic brand so that I can save a little amount but it's unfortunate because there's no available generic supply for that particular medicine. By the way, the meds is for the treatment of acid reflux.

Nope but it's a dual component with something similar like that.

If you were admitted, it will be covered by the insurance but if you have an excess bill, you need to pay for it. Prescription for an outpatient must be shouldered by an individual.

Hopefully, in two weeks I would be better and the symptoms won't appear. In addition, I am also avoiding those foods and drinks that will trigger it.

That's a shame that there is no generic brand. They are usually quite a bit cheaper.

Yes, that is true. I would try to buy generic if the certain prescription price is higher.

Do you have any health plan or insurance that covers up for that? A generic supply would have been helpful but unfortunately it is not there.

Too bad there is not a generic. Give it a few years and it will be.
