Boiler is out

We had no school Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday the boiler has been out in the lower grade level of our school.
For two days those little littles have been cold. They seemed to get things fixed today, but for that wing of the building there will be no school tomorrow.
I have heard that repair people will go up in the ceiling to check something, even though the boiler has been fixed.
It is awful cold.

I wouldn’t think it would be open at all until it’s totally fixed.

Our school has about three different units. The other end, where I spend my time, is warm. Middle part is medium warm.

Yes, it is. They have been using space heaters and wearing their coats but it is not very comfy.

I am sorry. It sounds like it would not be much fun at all.

It's better they check everything out. Don't want it breaking down or causing more problems, if problems can be prevented.

Yes, I guess it was not a simple fix.

It rarely ever is. Most machiical problems have more than one kind of cause. Better to err on the side of caution.@GardenGerty

They probably should have. Parts of the school were warm for the kids, and they put electric heaters in.

They were beginning to get heat out the evening of the first day. Took the one day out, though just in case the fix did not fix things.

They should have been closed until it was fixed.

It is important to get everything fixed otherwise those little tiny noses will just start running and dripping They might as well make intensive repairs and give you all an extra long weekend

My end of the building is warm. Separate heating systems.

Some of them do and have been keeping their kids home or picked them up early.

They got the heat fixed, but now we are out due to really bad weather coming through.
