The deep freezer and the covid.

In the time of Bubblews, I decided to buy a freezer as a luxury for me. Leticia said that I would have it empty as we were only 2 people.
I was adamnant, she accepted and I bought it. And it started to get filled. First we started to make food in a couple of batches, then I bought the ice cream that my grandchildren liked and finally we started buying some meat when it was on sale at the farmers shop.
Now, for a year, the freezer has been full. I promise I will not but extras but there´s a dread of things getting worse.
Now that I´m trying to slim down, I don´t have so many carbs in the pantry. But the freezer is full of meat.
My ways of eating have changed but the freezer is still full. In this moment I don´t have space to put some ice cream.
The good part though is that I´m around 6 pounds slimmer.

You mentioned Bubblews and I am reminded of the $700 they cheated on me which I was looking forward to buy a new phone.

@marguicha I have frozen veggies from our garden. I am glad to have chicken, fish and meat in the freezer. I also feel safer to freeze for at least one week before using... may be the cold kills the germs.

@LadyDuck I learned last year to freeze walnuts to keep them away from moths. Then I froze bread for commodity. Now I kill the covid with ice

Our pantry, refrigerator and freezer are full to the brim. We can't even put in a frozen pizza. I'm glad that you've lost some weight.

I like to keep a lot of veggies in mine. We freeze milk and bread too.
