Bitterly cold

As far as I know we are having school. It is bitterly cold here. I want to go back to bed.
My lunch is packed, though, and I am dressed in layers and I am getting my gloves and heavy coat. Just do it.
I ate sausage and eggs for breakfast.

We made it up to 17 the one day. Yesterday we saw 12. Today, Sunday, it is supposed to snow and it is very cold.

@GardenGerty Our highs have been in the low single digits. Though we had two days of low double digits. We start to warm up on Tuesday.

The kids seem to be pretty healthy here, and we have had regular school pretty constantly since August.

I told a friend from Minnesota on Facebook that his weather was wandering aimlessly around here in the south, and he needed to come pick it up and take it home.

@porwest My sister lives in St. Louis, she not working now, but she says she is going to wait before she looks for a job. Said she not going out in that weather. She rides the bus.

@GardenGerty I am actually hoping my wife's work gets called off on Monday. Supposed to be pretty ugly. I don't want her driving in the stuff. She works in St. Louis and we live across the river in Illinois, so it's a bit of a drive for her.

I was dressed in layers yesterday and wasn't cold at all when I went out. Today, I'm staying in my jammies.
