I am not made for winter / myLot

It's been a really difficult Sunday. For one thing worship services were cancelled because of inclement weather. Not that I would have be able to attend because my back has been hurting ALL DAY!! Fine time for the heating pad NOT TO HEAT UP!! My daughter … bless her heart … walked out in this weather to the Dollar Tree Store to buy me a muscle rub cream and some chocolate for Valentine's Day. Sweet child.

There is a winter storm watch for the entire state of Texas. The weather lady on television said this is the FIRST time in the history of the state and I am hoping that it will the ONLY time. There is a beautiful blanket of snow outside and I AM NOT THE LEAST BIT IMPRESSED! You think Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street was grumpy? I could give him a few lessons cause today I feel like the QUEEN OF GRUMPINESS!! It's a little about 7PM right now. OK. OK! I am going to go and count my blessings so I can improve my mood, One blessing is that we have not had a power outage and the space heaters for my bedroom are working.. I'll try to think of some more blessings. (Grumble grumble grumble.

I haven't been to church now since last March because of the coronavirus. I'm going to start to forget what that church looks like! I can't wait to go back. I don't like the snow and ice. It looks lovely on pictures though. That picture is lovely.

I like to look outside and to see a beautiful blanket of snow ONLY if I know that I can stay inside my home.

I dislike winter too. You chose a terrific photo though. Why can't winter keep that beautiful scenery up in the trees and not on the ground. Well, wishful thinking on my part. Your state has had quite a rough time. Hope the power remains on!

I am shocked by this news. I used to think that Texas would be warmer than Northern Indian plains and oh you get so much of snow ! If we were to get so much snow, we would be freezing !!
