Forgetting the word or a term

Sometimes, I tend to forget a word or term that I want to use when I need it during a talk. It takes time for me to think what that particular word is and I really have hard time remembering it. Take for example the word “assertive”, every time I want to remember it, it’s always the “aggressive” that will come out in mind. Today, I was about to use the word “autoclave” but it’s the “incinerator” that popped out in my mind. I’m sure that it’s not the right word to say so I did not utter it to the group of people at work I was talking with. Thanks goodness Google and I was finally able to remember it after some keying.

The more we press our mind to remember, the harder it is.

We have this at the health center where I work before, an oven like equipment where we use to sterilize instruments. Incinerator I think is a apparatus where the solid waste is burned.

Oh, I hope that it's just a case of random forgetfulness and not a sign of any serious memory malfunction.

We all have those moments, hard to remember all the correct words.

@ZedSmart It happens, particularly if you use more than one language every day.

That's right and there were times that I will just forget all about it and then came out the time you no longer use it.

That's right and we knew it that what we remembered is not the correct term that we want to utter.
