If I don't know the words I might make them up or sing in tongues then it doesn't really matter whether I know the words or not. But if it's songs that I do know I'll belt them out as best I can mostly when I'm driving in my car otherwise any listeners might cover their ears.

I always listen to the lyrics but Vince just listens to the music. With music he knows, he often sings or hums the bass line, as that is what he used to play when we were in the brass band. lol
