One thing about being a firefighter around the world is that they are on duty on a 24 hours a day dealing with rescues of either animals or human beings with the firefighter feeling good making a difference in the life of the person that they save.
The Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) crew were called to save a man who was trapped inside a multi story apartment around 2am on Tuesday.
A male who was in the third floor of the apartment was ready to jump off of the building when the firefighters came to rescue him by using an extension ladder that reached him in time.
The man whose name was not mentioned was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.
The local firefighters have requested the American Red Cross to find temporary homes for the residents who lived in the six units that were affected by the fire.
So far the cause of the fire that happened after midnight is under investigation.

What a scary situation for that man. Thank goodness he did not have to jump and risk serious injuries.
