I just finished with my grocery list and I sent it. As usual, it was more expensive than my expectations. And as usual, I can bet that in the next 24 hours I will remember that I forgot to buy something.
This online buying is not what I´d call Plan A or even Plan B. I decided not to buy veggies (they are gross and end in the garbage can) and lately I´m only buying frozen veggies, a lot more expensive.
And today my sister called me and told me that she had picked her dry beans and that she would have beans for the whole year.
Friends, such is life. I´m going to treat me with something good for dinner. Every time I buy food online I end up depressed.

I still go out to buy groceries (I have to fulfill my parents' grocery list as well as our own). I write what I need when I think of it or run out of it . . . this system seems to be work for me since I only grocery shop every 2 weeks. Is the produce not good when you receive them?

Veggies and fruit were never good so I stopped buying them. But i think I´ll start going to the super in 2 weeks.

@marguicha I want to pick the vegetables and fruits myself - we all have different preferences as to how ripe or how big, etc. Be safe when you do go to shop, which I know you will

I must agree with you ordering groceries online is not party time. The last time I ordered I was hoping for a chocolate cream cake to treat myself. The shopper for my order informed me there was no cake left and suggest chocolate cookies I wound up with some kind of 7-Up cake that was much too sweet for me and gave it to my friends who live below me. If I had been able to get to the store myself it would all have turned out different,

I can relate. I don't do as much impulse buying while I'm ordering online, but like you, I always remember something after I pick up the order. But I seem to be spending more money.

Don't be depressed. For now it's a convenient solution. I hope to be more mobile in the fall of this year. Things should be more under control by then.

I always forget something when I go shopping, this is why I am glad that I can go out to the shops and not have to order everything online. I did try online shopping once but it took ages and I was not happy with what they sent.
