I just got a pair of Dynaco A-25s (vintage loudspeakers) in for restoration yesterday. I'll attach a photo of a pair I restored a few years ago. One of the cute little Dynaco tags was missing (ysterday), so that got me to researching "Dynaco tags" on eBay. An original pair usually costs about $20.
I found a fella in Iowa who makes replica Dynaco tags and sells them for only $9/pair, with free shipping. They have stickem on the back, instead of the small screws of the originals. I have leftover screws here, so I asked him if he could sell me some tags without stickem on the back. He said "sure."
This morning he eBay-emailed me to let me know that he had shipped my tags, and that he had included an extra pair, so I could "experiment with them." Needless to say, he's gonna get some good eBay feedback.
The only problem: Now I'm singing (in my head) that horrible Lee Greenwood song, "I'm proud to be an Iowan!..."

Nice guy. Are all Iowans nice? I thought you were from Montana. And you studied in California. Gosh I have everything so mixed up. But Pony..I give you permission to get an Iowan girlfriend, but not live in Iowa. There are too many tornadoes there. West Virginia seems better, and so also Wisconsin. Why are you keen on Iowa per se?

Heh. I grew up in Chicago and went to college in Iowa. I went to graduate school in California and then returned to Iowa to teach college.Then I came back to California. So I've lived seven of my years in Iowa. The people there really are great--friendly and smart.

@TheHorse Yes, but why do they need the tags? They're still speakers and still provide sound without them.
