I am starting to gain respect for cats since they are impressing me with their ability to warn their owners that they are in danger and they need to take action before a tragic event happens to them. Lilly who is a rescue cat is being credited for alerting her owner Sandi Martin who lives in Lake Oswego Oregon who was having a good time with her cat when Lilly went to the gas fireplace and she started to sniff the valve. . Sandi decided to check out why her cat who was adopted from a cat shelter in Oregon. Sandi suspected that something was not right since she and her husband felt odd from the effects of the gas leak. When Sandi or her husband who called the gas company to report the possible effect of a gas leak, the operator of the gas company told Sandi to shut down everything and leave the home. An employee with the gas company came to the home and he found out that there was a sever gas leak coming from a pipe outside of the home that entered through the fireplace which could have caused a fire or explosion that could have some fatalities. Now I have gained respect for cats since they can also pay hero roles as good as a dog.
