My daughter sure can turn a phrase

The other day after we had an icy snow storm, she laughingly described how her dog went down the back steps by comparing what she saw to Bambi trying to walk on a frozen pond. I laughed along with her because she's so good at describing and imitating what she saw.
But, yesterday morning after she left for work, she texted me to tell me to salt the sidewalk because of how slippery it was. Her text read: "they came out to salt the sidewalk which you should do cause I baby Bambiād my way to the road.")
I had to read it twice before it clicked what she was describing. I had to laugh and I will now forever look at slipping on the ice as "baby Bambi"ing..

I like the use of the term Bambi in the person in your post talked about the icy snow storm.
