It's not me for Covid19 vaccine as it is not yet available in my country. The government says it's coming very soon. Today, I brought Ariana(the cat) to the vet’s clinic for rabies vaccination. She’s the third cat as pet in our house and as a responsible pet owner; I see to it that she will get protected by the rabies infection because it also means protection to the household people. Our three cats have different attitude but of course they received fair share of attention from us. I worried a bit for Ariana because she will bite us sometimes when she can. Although, not to the extent that it will leave you some punctured wounds but the sharp teeth is enough to leave a little tear on the skin surface so it’s better to be safe. I don’t know if it’s just a gesture of playfulness or she really acted mean or in a bad mood. Virgo is the sweetest of them all. He never shows act of harm to us but he’s the most voracious of the three. On the contrary, Cotton is the most picky when it comes to food and moody comes petting time.

It is said that they're protected when they get the vaccination and all we have to do is keep it updated. However, we do not want to be bitten of course.

Just go to the city's vet office. They're giving free it there. I'm just sad because they temporarily stopped the spay and neuter because of the pandemic and at the same time, they're busy monitoring the ASF cases to prevent it from outbreak here.

That is good that you really have them vaccinated for rabies. Especially the one that has its wild tendencies to still show aggressiveness towards their masters. As for the others I think they are the ones that is good to keep as pets since they know to show their gratitude towards their masters.

The female cat is just a month at home and she's perhaps still alienated with her current place.

No one wants to be bitten or scratched by a cat. I’m happy you take such good care of her and all your cats.

@ZedSmart I’d rather have scratches than no more kitties. I miss my Doodles so much.

We are lucky enough to not have rabies in Australia.

I have a small dog at home and he is really playful. And he seems to like chewing on my fingers all day long. Or my ears . Here we have vaccines, but I couldn't get one because I have a history of severe allergies. Authorities refused me 2 times already.

@ZedSmart most of my coworkers got it and there were some side effects like headache, nausea, muscle pain and a mild fever. But they lasted 2 days max. And after 1,5 million doses given we had only one serious side effect that was taken care of in less than 10 minutes. So it should be safe enough .

@Kasjnak That is good to note that there were only mild reactions for most patients receiving the vaccine. From what company your country gets the supplies?

I have heard that that the Covid vaccine has a not so good side effects to people with allergies. At least they're not allowing you to be vaccinated otherwise it would be risky at you.

And it's free and it doesn't cost me unlike when availing it to the private clinic.

I'm starting vaccination on another one of my cats this week. Can't bring them all in one go. I'll be broke if I do that.

It may just be play biting. My friend who owns a lot of cats, i visited her one day and she warned me about that. It's why i'm scared of cats because they are hard to read but they are so cute.

@ZedSmart See, so unpredictable. I love it when they rub their body , wanting attention though.. or maybe just food.

We wouldn't know if they just make "lambing" at first because they will do that and then rub their head anywhere at the lower limbs and then give you a surprise. However, not all cats would do this so far based on my experience.

Some cats give little bites as a sign of love, the cat of my neighbors does this to me.

Yes, that's right. I supposed to go to the clinic today but I went in advance and I never thought it is a Holiday in our country today.

Yes you are right. I still want them to be vaccinated even though they are indoor cats and never been allowed to roam outside.
