Me and my friend got a jacuzzi suite at a hotel with an attached water park for her birthday for two days. It was fun, but Saturday there were way too many people inside the water park to feel comfortable, so we did other things-got a couple adult beverages at bars and a distillery, used our in-room jacuzzi, shopped quite a bit, played cards, relaxed. We did get into the water park the second day when far fewer people were around. It was fun, but that was for her-my own self does not need a water park to entertain me.
I didn’t get to walk on any trails or do much exercise like I had wanted to, but oh well.
This trip did make me realize although I am right next door, I have not explored Wisconsin like AT ALL. Haven’t even been to the Dells! I should add that to my list.
How’s your week going? Any trips or mini-trips planned?

Aren't the Dells nothing but water parks?
I'm probably going to make a run to the Smokies before too much longer. Then golf season starts in May.

There are no trips planned at this time. I am enjoying writing fan fictions that poke fun of sports entertainment that is being panned by critics as being second rate.

The way to feel a place is to literally walk its main streets, partake in the street food if available, and talk to the locals.

I just remember floating down the Apple river in Wisconsin. I forget who but somebody took us kids there for a field trip. My world has Spring temps so I am engaged in little trips and walks with my newest dog.

I'm glad you enjoyed your short break. Hopefully next time you'll get more exercise in.
