It has definitely brought smiles on our faces, my younger daughter's streak of good luck.
The other week, her consultant simply handed her a check because she saw my daughter's piano recital on youtube.
Last week, a medical representative gave her a bag of shower essentials because she won a raffle which my daughter has no knowledge about.
Simply grateful.

@DianneN Thank you very much. She'd be happy to know you liked her performance.
Nope, no time for piano any longer. She's a senior resident at a hospital. The CoViD-19 has again kept all the departments real busy now.

Thank you.
Hope you enjoy a Chopin, her favorite composer.

@eileenleyva OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is brilliant and so talented! I loved it and am listening again right now. Thanks for sharing it with me.
I love Chopin and classical music. I used to play this when I was a piano student years ago, but gave it up due to lack of talent.
You should be very proud, and I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors. Pretty girl, too. Please send my kudos! Is she performing anywhere?

Wow. Thank you.
And as they say, blessings come to those who wish others good tidings.
May your blessings be a bounty!

@eileenleyva I think I have heard of it but never seen it before. It amazes me how some people have good luck and some say they are "blessed"?
My question is, what made them so special lol?

Have you watched the movie 'Just My Luck?' Pretty interesting that some people just have that good luck.
Hope you get that good luck, too.

@stephcjh When my daughter was a child, her elder sister got sick. Realizing her sister too infirmed to play, she went down on her knees by the bedside, where her sister was asleep, she closed her eyes, clasped her hands tightly, and prayed. Then her sister got well.
I do think she simply believes in her heart that good things come one's way when one believes it.
Another example was her saying, when she was in college - 'Ma, we need a new car,' and I thought where on earth would I get the money to buy a new car, and someone offered to buy my old one, and I did just had enough money for a Vios.
Would you believe she is saying that again currently? I know she'd get it somehow.

Thank you. We bought a week's supply of grocery with the check. Hmmm. with the shower gels and shampoos, I'd shift into a Japanese bath ritual.

There's something about my daughter that attracts good fortune, I believe. As a child, every wishful thinking she tells me materializes.
May good fortune smile upon you also.

Thank you. The mother is usually the beneficiary of all the good luck.

My daughter was actually surprised when she received the check. The consultant said she had no cash with her so she scribbled a check and gave it to my daughter. It was an 'out of the blue moment.' But as an underling, she must accept it.
This mother was all smiles - from ear to ear.
