We're ready for the coming apocalypse!

This is one of four cases of toilet paper my daughter ordered last week. She had placed a huge order with Amazon and these were part of it. Boxes came for days! I wonder what the neighbors thought. Still, we're happy to have them. Now we know we won't run out. Before Christmas! What do you sometimes stock up on that someone might think is odd?

Well I doubt Tolit paper and paper products will protect you against it.

@kaylachan No. But we'll still have them when no one else can find any in the store.

I would have to say we have a growing stock pile of tp and paper towels for whatever reason. Not that I can complain. I also stock up on pads when we go to wal-mart, because I never know when I'll need them or how mean mother nature will be.

I am stocking up on canned food. We lost food during the recent ice storm.

How do you lose food during an ice storm? It's typically colder than inside a fridge or even a freezer. lol

Did you know that Charmin has a "family roll" of toilet paper? It's a large roll that I think you can only buy from their website. I stock up on sponges and dish soap a lot.

We have a rather large supply of paper towels as well as cleaning supplies and laundry soap. But I think the TP outdoes all the rest.

We keep fairly well stocked with TP, laundry soap, etc. Food I just like to have one not the go, and one back up.

We're good on food, too, even though it wasn't planned.

Back in the day sharing a picture like this would have sent looters to your house. lol. It was GOLD. You could trade 3 rolls of the stuff for a Rolls Royce. It was madness. lol

I know. We bought four cases before that madness hit. We're still using them.

@porwest Because the stockpiling had begun as had the price increases. We had just ordered one case of 96 and quickly ordered more when stores began having empty shelves. We managed to grab most of them before Amazon hiked up the prices. We still have an unopened case. We didn't use them as fast as we anticipated. We also ordered a case of commercial rolls like you find in public rest rooms - those really big rolls. I actually like that paper better than the rest.

@jerzgirl I can imagine there are quite a lot of people who still operate out of their stockpile. I mean, I couldn't imagine why people needed so much? It was crazy.
