I'm starting a NEW wood block project

But I will finish the shelf... (and I'll tag the person(s) who asked me to tag them, but since this isn't about the shelf...)
Do you see the all white/tan blocks? four rows of ten blocks each? That's going to be painted gold. I need to get the gold paint, but I also need to decide if I should add another row at the bottom. (going horizontal) or not. I'll make a matching panel for the top.
I also have a large block (I bought three instead of four, don't know why) that I might glue to the top and then find wire and bend it to what I need before gluing it to the block.
Then it's a matter of deciding whether I want to glue a circular LED disk light to the top or put LED candles in the bottom. I'm voting more for the LED candles at the bottom, but the LED disk at the top would free the bottom for storage, so...
House is cold making this the second time in about six-ish months that we're having to call Monsieur HVAC to the house.
Maybe his last name is Rodriquez? I had a dream that I was following (wallflower) the heiress of a vast estate and her last name was Rodriquez.
Any hoozles...

Well, I tested positive for Covid, so I'm now quarantined for the next 14 days. So I'll probably be on myLot much more than I have in the past.

I can't wait to continue on it later this evening.
Such strange dreams all of my friends had. One of my friends had a dream she was in Mexico because she was hiding from the law. The people who were housing her were gross and abusive.

@LindaOHio I have had a lot of dreams revolving around Mexico too. Like when I dream of an old friend who used to live there. I'd dream we were on a school bus (we never rode to school together on a bus or in a car) and we had to pick her up and take her home to Mexico each day.

Hi there. That sounds like a fun project. Crafts can be fun.
I am busy on and offline again today as usual.
I know how the HVAC thing goes. We have the same problem the last few years and they came about every 6 months to do something with ours too even though it is a newer model. Grrr It is expensive to keep putting money out for, let alone the inconvenience.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Right. No telling what caused it to come loose. I know mice are small but they can be destructive as well. We have a crawl space under our house but it is fully enclosed but still, mice are so small, they make their way in at times.

@stephcjh Yes,we have two entrances to our crawl space because an addition was built and it was decided to allow for entrance directly into that crawl space too.
You're right it could easily have been a mouse.

The man had to go under the house and reattach some of the duct work. Last time it was for another part of the house. I hope this will be the end of it for awhile, but I'm wondering if critters are able to get in and out and damage it?

@Michellekidwell I used to think I was not very crafty, but I really am trying. My mom, gosh she was a super crafter.
I'm the one with the ideas, but not necessarily the ability to implement them.

You will have to show us the finished project. I have to hang my paint by number. It needs a bit more paint on it though. It doen't really, in my opinion, but I should add it.

I'm going to look at the acrylic paints when I go to walmart on Tuesday and that's when I think I'll do the painting too. More paint as in a second coating of paint?
