The summer season is fast approaching and I cannot wait to hunt for palm tree fruit. In my country, we call it 'buli.' I am not sure if you had tried to taste it. It is embarrassing to say that I had tasted it during my childhood years.
They are like coconut meat and taste like it, too.
Do you love eating them?
What do you call this kind of fruit?

@Shavkat The concept of this sounds like a coconut and the photo looks a lot like it but I can't say I've had this exact fruit you are talking about, the Buli. Looks very interesting and something I would try if I had the chance.

What’s its size compared to coconut? I’ve never seen one.

@sunrisefan It is too small. If we are going to buy a kilo or two so that we can be satisfied eating them.

@Shavkat Do you scoop the fruit out, or just eat it as it is?

We have what is called ice apples which are encased inside a hard shell normally three. They are soft and sweet.

@Shavkat Yes somewhat like lychees. But they should be eaten when they are tender.

@allknowing I agree. It is best to eat them if freshly harvested.

@DaddyEvil Uhm, I am sure there are some palm trees there. Not sure if you can have them there. I read an article that they are abundant in tropical countries like ours.

@Shavkat I hope to see you enjoying them this summer, Shavkat. I've never seen them in our market here.

@rhuenz I am not sure if it is abundant at your place during the summer season. I cannot even find them in years here. But I promised myself to hunt it in the public market soon.
@macayada It is also the same thing. My mom introduced this to me and my other siblings. Since then, we haven't tasted it.
