High Five From The Dude

Was out in the yard earlier. Another beautiful day. No new blooms yet. Just the daffodils so far. Came back into the screen room and both cats were snoozing. Surprise, surprise! The Dude was asleep on his back with his paw up. Sort of like he was saying, give me a high five. Anyway I snapped his photo without him waking up. They have a good life for sure. Enjoying this nice weather again today. 70 degrees F was the high today, and should be all week.

How adorable! I should have snapped a photo of Binx when I was at my friend's on Saturday. He was in his sister's cage just snoozing. He likes to stretch his paw out like that too.

Years ago, I came home to find my (now ex) husband, on his back, asleep on the couch, and our cat Patrick, asleep on his back, on my husband's stomach, Just when I stepped inside, Patrick lifted all four of his paws into the air, and then lowered his front paws down between his back paws, as if to cover up his privates. This was 1993, so I couldn't take a picture for proof. But, Mike had just opened his eyes as Patrick had done that. So, at least he saw it too.

@CarolDM It certainly sounds like they have a good life. My Sophie is napping on a blanket on the couch now. It certainly looks like the Dude is wanting to give a high five. That is cute. Maybe he is dream about high fiving.

Our weather has been in the fifties to low sixties but may drop day after tomorrow into the forties. The snow is almost gone in places but muddy messes in others. I was going to say you have the dude trained well that he does his high fives even while asleep
