Under the saying of "Better late than never" a female dog named Baby Girl who was a resident of the Winnie Berry Humane Society in Lufkin Texas for six years was adopted
The lucky dog was adopted by a couple named Monica and Mark Deaton who knew that Baby Girl was the dog that at first sight would want to live her remaining years of her life with due to the rule of first impressions.
Baby Girl will fill the void of the former dog of the Deaton family who died recently at age 17. The members of the Winnie Berry Humane Society which most likely is a no kill shelter are happy that Baby Girl will leave their facility and have the company of three puppies at the Deaton home,
For the record Baby Girl was a member of the animal shelter for a record stay of 2,326 days which is almost seven years after Baby Girl was placed inside the shelter since 2014.

@Deepizzaguy I am sorry to hear this. For me, it will take time to plan this. We still have two dogs here.

I'm glad that Baby Girl is out of the shelter and into a good home.

Oh that's so good. There aren't a lot of people who will take a dog nearing the end of it's life.

I know what you mean about the dog being inside of that shelter for a long time.
