inspired by my previous discussion 
i don't like watching tv shows that much (but i still watch them)
why? because it takes too much time to watch it all.
that's why i prefer anime shows – the episodes are like 20 minutes long and you can finish the whole season in like 4 hours or sometimes 8.
i haven't seen all episodes of many shows.
i used to watch CSI Miami, CSI New York, Bones and Mentalist when i was younger, but only the episodes that were shown on TV programs, never the entire show.
i've seen many episodes of The Big Bang Theory, Two and a half Men, How I met your mother and F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
i watched all episodes of Game of Thrones, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, DARK and Mindhunter.
i'm currently watching La Casa de Papel and i reaaalllllly like it. i can't wait to see the next episode.

i already talked to You about these shows in one of your discussion. i've seen few episodes of NCIS, it's not bad, but i've already seen too many episodes of other "investigating" tv shows, so yeah

@aureategloom Cats are very good "sleepers". I am not a big fan of shows, I remember some old ones that I used to watch, Charlie's Angels, CSI Miami, Grey's Anatomy.

I will admit, ever since we bought the house, my husband and I don't watch as much t.v. While there are a few shows we'll enjoy, we don't watch a lot. I still have favorite anime, and t.v. shows but if I were to list them all I probably would be here all day. Currently, hubby and I are watching married at first sight and I've been watching (mostly falling asleep to) property brothers. Didn't quite catch what he was listening to yesterday. But, he also hadn't had the t.v. in the pod (his nickname for his office) on in a couple of months.

@aureategloom I think Married at first Sight is U.S.-based. Sailor Moon would be my top Anime followed by Ronin Warriors and Gundam Wing, I've seen a handful of others, but those are my top three.

@kaylachan maybe Married at first Sight, but here we got Brak na prvuor Brak na nevideno(i don't know how to translate it, but it's like married at first sight and married "without first sight" haha because if i translated it literally, it wouldn't make any sense).
i've seen Sailor Moon, i liked it. i prefer short anime shows.

I haven't watched anime in a few years but I also enjoyed the shorter format. I'm so busy lately that it takes me forever to watch a tv show
right now I'm watching Queen's Gambit and Miraculous Ladybug on Netflix

@aureategloom it's been a loooong time. I was rewatching k-on and soul eater a few months ago, just as background noise. I started magia record but never finished it, maybe I'll go back and finish that. same with danganronpa. I used to love magical girl anime like tokyo mew mew and pretty cure I like anime movies as well. your name, silent voice, girl who leapt through time. I have only seen a few ghibli movies.

@isweartokira i liked soul eater so muchhh, it reminds me of such a nice period in my life.
i got draganronpa on my watchlist, but i never watch it.
about ghibli movies, i've seen those, but for some reason i liked old ones more - my neighbor totoro, whisper of the heart, princess mononoke.
also, i suggest hotarubi no mori e if you haven't seen it.
i rarely watch youtube and youtube series, but i'll ask what are you watching?

what are some of your favorite anime shows? when i don't have time for anime shows, i watch anime movies. ghibli movies are really calm and relaxing.
i've heard of queen's gambit and i would like to watch it sometime. but the reason is pretty dumb - i like that actress's face
and also my friend told me it's good, so i guess i'll watch it some time.

@aureategloom I prefer the old animes. Ghost Fighter, Detective Conan, Hunter x Hunter, Samurai X, Ouran High School. The recent ones i've watched were 7 Deadly Sins and Attack on Titan.
I'm just watch RuPaul Drag race right now, thinking of starting Brooklyn 9(?) too

@lady1993 ouu i didn't know that about you and i'd never thought you're watching anime. i watched old anime last year, but those with not too many episodes haha oh and HxH (i love it). i still haven't seen the last season of Attack on Titan because i don't have enough time 
i'm thinking of finishing the ones i started and for some reason i want to watch sk8 the infinity (characters are cute)

i don't like watching tv either - it's usually the same movies that are emitted on programs, same songs, old tv shows - i don't like it. that's why i usually find things on the internet and watch it on my laptop... and sometimes on tv.
what could be the reason for your disinterest in watching TV?
